The Open University in partnership with the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has launched a collection of three supported online training courses focused on Safeguarding for the International Aid Sector. Riding on the success of Course 1: Introduction to Safeguarding in the International Aid Sector, we are happy to be launching the second course, ‘Implementing Safeguarding in the International Aid Sector’ which is also delivered online and free to learners. Delivered by the Open University, Course 2 will provide learners in the international aid sector with an understanding of how to implement safeguarding throughout their organisation.

The Open University is hosting a free 1-hour launch webinar on 23 November 2021 at 15:00 UK Time that will include a presentation on Course 2, its content, details of how the course functions and registration information. There will be an opportunity to speak to the authors and academics behind the course. Course 2 starts on 29 November 2021.
